Br. Arturo Called into Permanent Diaconate Program

On September 8, 2018, Br. Arturo Renteria was officially accepted as a candidate into the permanent diaconate program of the Diocese of San Diego.

 

Along with 11 other men, Br. Arturo affirmed his desire to faithfully begin his formation in a multi-year process which consists of classes and extensive pastoral experiences.  Br. Arturo will serve this year at Otay Correctional Facility and minister to those in detention there.

 

For Br. Arutro, who professed his First Vows as an Augustinian friar just over one year ago, the ceremony marked a major milestone in his vocational journey.
