Fr. Fernando Leads Lenten Retreat for OMGC Community

March 18, 2018

On Saturday, March 17th, Fr. Fernando Lopez, OSA, who serves as Associate Pastor at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Ojai, came to Our Mother of Good Counsel Parish in Los Angeles to give a three hour Lenten retreat for the Latino community of the parish.  The retreat focused on three themes: our relationship with God, our relationship with others, and our relationship with ourselves.  Fr. Fernando was invited to the parish by his novitiate classmate Fr. Tom Davis, OSA, who serves as Associate Pastor at OMGC and can be seen wearing a festive St. Patrick's Day clerical shirt in the group photo, Fr. Tom gave high praise to Fr. Fernando's style as he gave the retreat, "It is great because he asks great questions and he interacts with the people answering their questions."
